UK Watch and Jewellery Awards’ 2014 Shortlist Announced
The finalists for the watch and jewellery industry’s most prestigious awards have been revealed and bespoke designer Jana Reinhardt is one of the nominees.A panel of judges assembled from the industry’s leading experts has announced the much anticipated shortlist for the UK Watch and Jewellery Awards 2014. The event celebrates the best in the business and had over 200 entrants this year. One of the names shortlisted in multiple categories including Jewellery Designer of the Year and E-tailer of the Year is bespoke designer Jana Reinhardt.
The UK Watch and Jewellery Awards has been considered one of the most prestigious awards events in the industry for more than 20 years. Being shortlisted for the event is a highly coveted honour and has proven very beneficial for previous nominees on a business and marketing level.
The designers, such as Jana Reinhardt, who have won one of the prized places on the event’s shortlist were notified via cupcake invitations which directly reflected the excitement and celebration atmosphere the ceremony is poised to have. The winners will be announced at what is considered to be this year’s must-attend event at the Hilton Park Lane on July 2nd. The evening, which is anticipated to be full of glamour and luxury, has nearly sold out already.
Laura McCreddie, the editor of Retail Jeweller, commented on the shortlist: “every year they celebrate the best we have in this business and this year’s shortlist is no different. It’s really great to see some new faces as well as some long-time supporters of the awards on the shortlist this year. Congratulations to everyone who’s a finalist. You certainly deserve it.”
Jana Reinhardt and Fei Lui, who both feature in the F&L Designer Guides, are a select few who have multiple nominations. The awards categories hope to honour and celebrate newcomers to the jewellery design business as well as the more seasoned designers who continue to make a great contribution to the industry.
