Chris and Joy Poupazis Celebrate 3rd Anniversary of JeDeCo GalleryF&L members Chris and Joy Poupazis celebrate the third birthday of their showroom in the OXO Tower with Pimms and jewellery.
On Thursday, 4 June, the atmosphere in the JeDeCo showroom where F&L members Chris and Joy Poupazis are based was even more festive than usual. The reason? JeDeCo, the collective of independent jewellers that Chris and Joy are part of, was celebrating its 3rd year anniversary of its founding. The occasion was also an opportunity to present jewellery designers who have recently joined the collective and to launch some exciting new collections designed by existing members.
Exactly three years ago, in 2012, some members of JeDeCo (abbreviation for Jewellery Designers’ Collective, founded in 2008) moved into the space in the OXO Tower, and members of the collective have run the jewellery showroom together ever since. The space, which is located on the rear balcony on the first floor of London’s OXO Tower, features several showcases where visitors can admire work by Chris and Joy Poupazis as well as other jewellery designers, such as Catherine Marche, Laura Parra and Katerina Damilos.
Suitably accompanied by a summery drink of Pimms, the JeDeCo jewellers and their fans spent an evening socialising and reminiscing about the three amazing years they had enjoyed running the showroom together.
Don’t worry if you missed this event because you can always find Chris and Joy Poupazis in their showroom between 11am and 6pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays and from noon to 5pm on Sundays. The space is easily accessible from Waterloo, Blackfriars and Southwark stations and the OXO Tower also hosts many other galleries of an eclectic variety of creative designers. Featuring a restaurant, bar and brasserie and coffee shop on top of that, the venue can offer visitors a lovely afternoon of shopping, eating, drinking and socialising.
