Yellow Engagement Rings Inspired by Romance
L and I have been looking at yellow engagement rings in an effort to explore the unconventional. Esther Eyre’s design drew me in straight away with its extremely unusual cabochon spessartite gemstone.
This is certainly a beautiful type of garnet which L and I have never seen before.
The complementary pave diamonds are the perfect addition to this stunning design. Esther has cleverly used a rose gold band, which gives the diamonds a lovely warm glow. It’s quite refreshing to see some sparkling brilliance alongside the opaque depths of the cabochon garnet.
L is fond of yellow engagement rings that have a vintage feel and this creation certainly has just that with its unusual cabochon cut, which is the oldest gemstone cut known to man. It gives this ring a beautiful sense of the past which I know is one of Esther’s passions (and certainly appeals to L!).
Esther also strives to work modern details into her period-style work and it is these intricacies which make her work so easily recognisable.
Her innovativeness as a designer is abundantly clear in her ability to capture her client’s imaginations with her dreamy jewellery.
Within this design Esther has managed to capture beauty, elegance and a taste of both traditional and modern styles. Her eclectic nature and passion for quality certainly make her a brilliant bespoke designer.
