Blossoming Floral Yellow Engagement Rings
Isn’t this one of the most beautiful yellow engagement rings you’ve ever seen? I was instantly captivated by Karlin Anderson’s botanical inspired design. It is the epitome of feminine elegance and incorporates one of my favourite creations of Mother Nature – flowers!
It can be a difficult task to capture something as organic as a flower within a crafted piece of jewellery. The translation from petal to metal can go terribly wrong, but Karlin has got it exactly right.
This design looks effortlessly natural as the flowing and soft lines seem as if they have sprung from the earth of their own accord.
The other day I came across another design of Karlin’s which eternalised beautiful bubbles and Karlin has once again created a beautifully permanent tribute to nature’s temporary lifecycle. I always feel sad when I see flowers begin to droop so the thought of having one set in durable platinum with a gorgeous yellow diamond centre stone makes me extremely excited!
Other yellow engagement rings I’ve seen are usually metal orientated in terms of their yellowness. I love that Karlin has injected a rush of colour into this design with an unusual coloured diamond instead; it is certainly one of the most unique shades I have ever seen.
The paleness brings the perfect subtlety to the ring as the setting is already quite extravagant and I think a brighter colour would have overpowered it.
