WHY F&L LOVE
Keith Gordon

L and I packed up the car on a sunny Sunday morning to drive to the charming village of Ashwell in Hertfordshire where Keith Gordon runs his workshop and jewellery boutique in a smart barn conversion that’s a far cry from the corrugated iron air raid shelter that he kitted out as his first studio. This designer has a penchant for taking those jewels in your collection that are invested with sentimental value but don’t quite match your personal style and creating a masterpiece that will suit the wearer’s character to a tee. Keith Gordon’s work is a lovely testament to enduring life that a piece of jewellery can have.

ENGAGEMENT RING BY KEITH GORDON
Oct. 6 2014 Keith Gordon’s Traditional Diamond Engagement Ring

This custom design by Keith Gordon is both traditional and unique.

Keith Gordon’s Diamond Challenge

If you’re a bit of a traditionalist, like I must confess I am, then you may well be looking for that classic diamond for your engagement ring. If you are searching for quality at an affordable price then Keith Gordon is your man. Picture a bloodhound on the scent of a diamond and you will have the embodiment of Keith’s attitude to tracking down that perfect stone for his clients.

With international sources at his fingertips and over 30 years of honing his skills and intuition, Keith relishes the Challenge of finding a certified diamond that will dazzle and inspire.

No Commission Too Unique

Keith Gordon has been a designer and jewellery maker for long enough that he has collected inspirational and wacky tales from each of his clients’ commissions. But with the engagement rings that he works on, the surprises never end. Keith’s specialism in reclaiming old jewellery attracted an unusual commission from a couple with a very specific set of circumstances. He was asked to create a new engagement ring for the lady from half a dozen old rings that had been given to her by her previous husbands.

The final piece clearly wowed L: I’m hoping that she doesn’t start to have ideas about collecting fiancés in imitation of this stunning beauty!
